The Preferred Rifles MDT LSS Gen3 Comp Chassis Kit is a complete, preconfigured chassis package built for precision rifle and competition use. Each kit combines the MDT LSS Gen3 chassis base, STS stock, and Competition forend into a compatibility-verified setup that is ready to assemble and accept your barreled action.

The Comp Kit delivers a rigid, stable platform at a great price while retaining the modularity of the LSS Gen3 system. Start with a solid competition-ready foundation, then add MDT accessories, weights, rails, bipods, and other upgrades as you dial in your perfect setup.

Available for Remington 700 short action and Remington 700 long action CIP-length configurations in Black or FDE.

Run Any Preferred Rifles Barrel Contour

One of the biggest advantages of the Competition forend is barrel clearance.

Every barrel contour we offer at Preferred Rifles will fit inside the Comp forend, giving you the freedom to build the rifle around your intended use instead of designing around chassis clearance.

Want to keep the rifle lighter and more maneuverable? Run a lighter contour like a Taperless Contour or a Carbon Fiber Barrel.

Want maximum stiffness and weight for a dedicated competition rifle? Step all the way up to one of our heaviest contours like a Full Bull or PRS/Heavy Varmint.

That makes the LSS Gen3 Comp Kit especially versatile for custom builds. You can choose your barrel based on the balance, weight, stiffness, and heat capacity you want without worrying about whether it will fit the chassis.

Complete Kit with Verified Compatibility

The MDT LSS Gen3 system is highly modular, but that also means there are a lot of individual parts to sort through.

We’ve already done that work for you.

Each LSS Gen3 Comp Kit uses components we’ve verified to work together, eliminating the need to research individual MDT part numbers or determine which stock and forend work with a particular chassis base.

Simply choose your action length and color, assemble the included components, and install your compatible barreled action.

These are ready-to-assemble chassis kits. Final chassis assembly is completed by the customer before installing the barreled action.

Barreled action, magazine, optic, bipod, and other accessories are not included.

Short Action & Long Action CIP Options

The LSS Gen3 Comp Kit is available for select Remington 700 and compatible Remington 700-pattern actions.

Available configurations include:

• Remington 700 Long Action — CIP Length

The long-action CIP configuration is an excellent option for precision rifle builds using cartridges that benefit from additional magazine and cartridge overall length.

The Comp Kit gives you a strong starting point without locking the rifle into one configuration. As your needs change, the chassis can be expanded with compatible MDT accessories including ARCA components, weights, bipods, grips, rails, bag riders, and other M-LOK accessories.

Once assembled, the Comp chassis is ready for a compatible Remington 700-pattern barreled action to drop in.
