Seekins PH3 & Element - Factory Stock Options
The Seekins PH3 and Element rifles have earned a reputation for lightweight precision and exceptional field performance. Our contour lineup expands those capabilities by giving shooters multiple barrel configurations designed specifically around the factory stock dimensions.
We are proud to offer a variety of custom steel contours, as well as a newly designed carbon fiber contour, all specific to the Seekins Platforms.
Seekins PH3 and Element Carbon Fiber
For shooters seeking the lightest possible rifle without sacrificing performance, our carbon fiber contour provides an ideal solution.
Our carbon fiber barrels deliver all of the advantages traditionally associated with heavier steel barrels, including rigidity, harmonic consistency, and point-of-impact stability, while dramatically reducing overall rifle weight.
Available in multiple finishes, including:
- Black Carbon Fiber
- 50/50 Nickel Carbon Blend
- Full Nickel Carbon Blend
This contour is particularly well-suited for lightweight hunting rifles, mountain builds, and suppressor-equipped build where maintaining balance and reducing fatigue are priorities.
Seekins Lightweight Sporter
Our Lightweight Sporter contour was developed as a lightweight steel alternative and direct replacement for the Seekins PH3 and Element factory contour.
This profile maintains fitment and prioritizes weight savings while incorporating one important improvement: sufficient muzzle diameter to support 5/8x24 muzzle threads at any barrel length.
Dimensionally, the Lightweight Sporter mirrors the factory contour closely and measures only approximately .040" larger at the muzzle.
This is an excellent option for replacing a factory barrel without going substantially heavier in contour.
Seekins Heavy Sporter
For shooters wanting additional barrel mass and increased stability, we developed the Heavy Sporter contour.
This profile remains compatible with the factory PH3 and Element stock while providing additional stiffness and weight compared to factory contours.
The Heavy Sporter is an ideal choice for:
- Precision-oriented hunting rifles
- Heavy recoiling cartridges
- Shooters seeking improved stability and reduced movement during firing
It delivers additional performance potential while still maintaining proper stock clearance.
810 & 860 Taperless Contours
Our 810 and 860 taperless contours occupy the sweet spot between lightweight hunting contours and heavier profiles.
These midweight options provide additional wall thickness and rigidity without requiring a significant jump in overall rifle weight.
An added advantage of these profiles is expanded fluting compatibility.
Because of their increased diameter, shooters can choose more intricate fluting patterns such as:
- Double Diamond
- Barbwire
- Double Hexagon
- Snakeskin
Seekins Element Hunter Chassis Options
The Hunter chassis accepts all contours available to the PH3 and Element rifles except for the Heavy Sporter, which exceeds preferred chassis clearance dimensions.
Whether the goal is an ultralight suppressor-ready mountain rifle or a more balanced precision hunting setup, the Hunter chassis contour options allow shooters to tailor their rifle exactly to their needs.
Seekins HIT Pro Barrel Options
We offer a direct factory replacement contour for the HIT Pro, preserving the handling and balance found in the original factory rifle.
Beyond a direct factory replacement, the HIT Pro is also compatible with many of Preferred Barrel Blanks' standard contour offerings, including:
