Manners Sport Comp Stock

The Manners Sport Comp bridges the gap between a lightweight hunting stock and a full competition-oriented rifle platform. It combines the familiar ergonomics of a traditional composite stock with the rigidity, barrel clearance, and integrated chassis system needed for modern precision rifles.

Our in-stock Sport Comp configuration is built for Remington 700-pattern Short Actions and includes the Manners Mini Chassis for a rigid, repeatable action interface.

Manners Mini Chassis

Each Sport Comp stock we carry is equipped with the Manners Mini Chassis, providing a solid mounting platform for the barreled action without requiring a traditional bedding job.

The chassis system helps maintain consistent action support while simplifying installation and making the Sport Comp an excellent option for customers assembling a rifle around a factory or custom Remington 700-pattern action.

M24 Barrel Inlet

Our Sport Comp stocks are cut with an M24 barrel channel, giving them plenty of clearance for heavier barrel configurations.

The inlet will accommodate:

• Sendero contours
• Light, Medium, and Heavy Palma contours
• M24 contours
• Preferred taperless contours
• Preferred carbon-fiber barrel contours

This makes the Sport Comp especially versatile for shooters who want the freedom to build anything from a lighter carbon-barreled rifle to a heavier steel competition or long-range setup.

Compact and Suppressor Friendly

Despite its competition-oriented design, the Sport Comp can also work extremely well for compact and suppressed rifles.

This configuration accommodates barrels down to 13.25 inches while still leaving enough clearance to mount and run a suppressor. That opens up some interesting options for short, balanced rifle builds without giving up the stability of a full-size stock.

Built for Modern Precision Rifles

The Sport Comp is equally at home on a precision hunting rifle, NRL Hunter-style build, or general-purpose long-range rifle. Its wider barrel compatibility makes it especially useful for shooters who want the option to change barrel weight or contour without immediately outgrowing the stock.

At approximately 2 lb. 6 oz., it provides a substantial and stable shooting platform while remaining light enough for rifles that may still see significant field use.
