This Preferred Rifles Cinder barreled action is built around our lightweight Cinder action and a Preferred Barrel. Designed for lightweight hunting and precision rifle builds, the Cinder combines a true Remington 700 footprint, DLC-coated bolt, Mini M16 extractor, and plunger ejector.

This Preferred Rifles Cinder barreled action combines our American-made precision rifle action with a hand-lapped Preferred Barrel for the ultimate drop-in precision build.

Rather than sourcing an action, ordering a barrel, and then sending the components out for chambering and installation, this barreled action arrives as a matched, headspaced assembly ready for your trigger, stock, and scope.

The Preferred Rifles Cinder was developed for shooters who want to reduce rifle weight without giving up the features expected from a premium custom rifle action. Its stainless steel receiver uses a true Remington 700 port and tang configuration for broad compatibility with Remington 700-pattern stocks, chassis, and triggers.

 A DLC-coated bolt provides a durable, low-friction operating surface, while the Mini M16 extractor and plunger ejector provide straightforward, reliable case extraction and ejection. The Cinder Core is an excellent foundation for lightweight hunting rifles, backcountry builds, and general-purpose precision rifles where every ounce matters.
