When a major OEM unexpectedly backed out of their bulk order, we had two choices: sit on a stack of premium barrels — or pass the savings to shooters who appreciate real quality. We chose the latter.

These 22 Creedmoor barreled actions pair a stainless 18″ barrel with the rock-solid Kelbly Atlas Lite action. Every barrel is rifled, lapped, and chambered to the same tolerances and finish standards we use on our custom builds — no shortcuts, just better value. Choose optional fluting for reduced weight and a refined look.

Please be aware that these barreled actions are available for preorder and are not currently in stock. We expect these actions to begin shipping after the first of the year in 2026 and to have all orders fulfilled by the end of the first quarter.

Description

These barrels were purpose-built for the 22 Creedmoor cartridge, with SAAMI-spec chambers for full factory ammo compatibility. The OEM that ordered these barrels backed them with a ½-MOA accuracy guarantee with premium ammunition, and we expect the same performance for our customers. Optional fluting is available for weight reduction and a refined look. This is a limited, one-time run—once these are gone, they’re gone.

 

Atlas Lite Action Details:

Kelbly’s Atlas Lite action is a Remington semi-clone action, featuring a side bolt release and trigger pins.  There is little modification necessary to use a Remington 700/40x stock or chassis.

Kelbly made the Atlas Tactical to be the most rugged action possible for practical, tactical, or hunting.  Building off of the success of Atlas Tactical, the Atlas Lite is its skeletonized, lightweight revision.

Each action comes standard with a Black Nitride finish from H&M Metal Processing.  This finish allows you to use this action dry or without lubrication for extreme environments.  As always, it is best to use lubrication in normal day-to-day shooting.  In addition to the Black Nitride process, it comes with a fluted bolt, to help move dirt into the flutes allowing for better function of the action.

They cut the magazine well to use the Accuracy International single-stack magazines.  One of the key features of this action is the TG ejector, it is a mechanical ejector that does not put any chamber pressure on the round.  It is also a never fail setup, meaning that there are no springs to get gummed up and stop working.

The Atlas Lite is designed to use Hawkins Precision Direct Mount Rings (Stiller – Lone Peak Models) – the Picatinny rails from the Atlas actions work as well if you’d like a full rail instead.

This action follows the standard Remington 700 footprint, allowing users to access the enormous aftermarket to customize their rifle further.
