When a major OEM unexpectedly backed out of their bulk order, we had two choices: sit on a stack of premium barrels — or pass the savings to shooters who appreciate real quality. We chose the latter.

These 22 Creedmoor barreled actions pair a stainless 18″ barrel with the rock-solid Kelbly Atlas action. Every barrel is rifled, lapped, and chambered to the same tolerances and finish standards we use on our custom builds — no shortcuts, just better value. Choose optional fluting for reduced weight and a refined look.

Please be aware that these barreled actions are available for preorder and are not currently in stock. We expect these actions to begin shipping after the first of the year in 2026 and to have all orders fulfilled by the end of the first quarter.

Description

These barrels were purpose-built for the 22 Creedmoor cartridge, with SAAMI-spec chambers for full factory ammo compatibility. The OEM that ordered these barrels backed them with a ½-MOA accuracy guarantee with premium ammunition, and we expect the same performance for our customers. Optional fluting is available for weight reduction and a refined look. This is a limited, one-time run—once these are gone, they’re gone.

 

Two Tone Atlas Action Details:

Built for real-world use and repeatable performance, the Atlas blends proven engineering with field-friendly finishes. It’s a Remington-style semi-clone designed for easy fitment into Rem-700/40X stocks and most chassis systems with minimal modification. The action body is bead-blasted stainless steel for corrosion resistance and a low-glare profile that won’t catch the light on a long stalk or bright range day. The bolt and recoil lug are black-nitride coated by H&M Metal Processing to enhance wear resistance and longevity in demanding conditions.

Function and reliability are key: the bolt is fluted to help channel debris into the flutes for smooth cycling, while the TG mechanical ejector eliminates the springs that can gum up — ensuring consistent ejection without placing pressure on the case. The action is cut for Wyatt’s Extended boxes and Accuracy International (AICS) magazines and uses Remington 700-style trigger pinning for straightforward stock and chassis compatibility.

Kelbly completes the package with practical, field-ready upgrades: The anti-shear bolt stop for rock-solid retention, a pinned 20-MOA Picatinny (1913) rail for secure optic mounting, a dual-pin recoil lug, and a tear-drop bolt knob for positive, comfortable operation in any condition.

 

This action follows the standard Remington 700 footprint, allowing users to access the enormous aftermarket to customize their rifle further.
