Remage prefit barrels are barrels for Remington actions that have been equipped with a barrel nut, like a Savage, so that the end-user can do DIY barrel swaps with minimal tools at home.  Our prefit barrel nut has the same interface as the Savage barrels, which works seamlessly with the standard ‘Savage Barrel Nut Wrench‘ that can be quickly found and purchased when searched for on the net.  This presents many opportunities for multi-caliber setups or bringing life to an old favorite with a fresh barrel.  The addition of a barrel nut may create clearance issues in some stocks, which can be opened up by a gunsmith.  Chassis offerings should have the clearance needed for the barrel nut.

This barrel has been modified to specifically fit Bergara B14 actions. Bergara B14 actions are compatible with R700 accessories.
