The Valor short action is the ultimate backcountry lightweight hunting short action! Maintaining the fast and slick function of the Valor long action but dropping over a half-pound of weight! Weight is 36 oz with rail. Metal is removed to save weight, without compromising strength.  The Valor short action is a precision 3-lug bolt action that yields a shorter 60° bolt throw.  This action follows the standard Remington 700 footprint, which allows the user to tap into that enormous aftermarket to further customize their rifle.

Paired with Preferred’s match-grade barrel in an M24 contour, this rifle is built to deliver precision and accuracy at extreme benchrest distances!
