Curtis Custom’s Helix Hybrid Long Action is the ultimate backcountry lightweight hunting action.  Maintaining the fast and slick function of the Helix action, but dropping over a half-pound of weight! Weight is 29oz with rail.  Metal is removed to save weight, without compromising strength.  The Helix Hybrid is a precision 3-lug bolt action that yields a shorter 60° bolt throw.   Being built to the standard Remington 700 footprint allows users to tap into that enormous aftermarket to customize their rifle further.

Paired with Preferred’s match-grade barrel in a Heavy Palma contour, this rifle will give you the confidence to take down that old wary buck at extreme distances.
